Unisa is the only Higher Education institution to carry the name of the country, is the people’s university in every sense of the word. Located at the southern tip of Africa, Unisa takes pride in its identity and has the interest of the continent at heart.

Innovative in teaching and learning

Unisa offers both vocational and academic programmes from the level of short courses, undergraduate and postgraduate certificates, and diplomas to degrees, including masters and doctoral qualifications. The university has nine colleges offering learning programmes in a broad spectrum of disciplines.
